TThis is one of our broccoli plants. We really like broccoli in our family and are happy to see it doing so well.
Here is a lettuce plant.
More lettuce of a different variety. We are already eating this in salads. We did plant this from seed but I've never posted it here before.
Do you find particular plants more exciting to watch than others?

Oh no! Broccoli and lettuce are never boring! :) Can't say that I think of any of them as boring to watch. On the other hand, I am finding my strawberries particularly interesting this year.
ReplyDeleteI think peas are the most interesting to watch. Something about the way they curl up and unfurl, I think. I also like watching pumpkins grow - from a small flower to a small green blob to a huge orange pumpkin. The kids think those are the best to watch. Really, they like to watch anything that goes from flower to fruit.

ReplyDeleteI like the "big leaf" plants like broccoli and cabbage. I always think about using the leaves inside in a flower arrangement.
I haven't done that yet, but this might be the year..
